David W. Crombie, President of Conserve Oil Corporation is a CMA by training. He has worked in upper-level management positions at Canadian Pacific and Molson Industries. Both companies have subsidiaries engaged in resource plays and manufacturing. In 1991 Mr. Crombie arrived in Calgary and was involved as CFO in numerous real estate, oil and gas ventures. He worked in financing, as well as project evaluation. Mr. Crombie has worked on oil and gas projects in Africa and the Middle East with a special focus on marginal oil fields in West Africa.

Yoshiki Nakamura, Vice-President Business Development has over 20 years of experience in the international Investment Business. Mr. Nakamura has worked as CEO of B&Y Worldwide Incorporate, a consulting company specializing in early-stage projects. Further, Mr. Nakamura was the CEO of I&P Corporation with the focus on controlling and organization re investments from Japan to the USA. Mr. Nakamura has substantial experience re the start-up phase as well as financial analysis of corporations.

Dr. James G. Speight, Director completed a Degree in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry in Manchester, England and has over 40 years experience working in the oil industry as well as related industries. Dr. Speight has worked as high-level research positions as Exxon Research and Engineering Company (1980-1984), and Western Research Institute in Laramie, Wyoming, USA (1984-1998). Dr. Speight has authored or co-authored over 400 scientific research papers, publications, as well as over 30 books. He has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate and other Awards throught the world, including the Gold medal and Einstein medal from the Russian Academy of Science, the most notable research facility in the Russian Federation.

Arnie Birns, Director, has over 42 years experience in the financial services industry. Since 1989, Mr. Birns has been the President and owner of Birnco Financial Group Ltd. an insurance and investment brokerage firm specializing in providing financial planning and retirement solutions to both the private and corporate markets. Mr. Birns is also the Managing General Agent for several of Canada’s major insurance companies working with a significant number of financial planners and advisors. He was the President of the Calgary Life Managers Association in 1986 and 1987.
